Fun & Function Renovations adheres to the guidelines set out in the TCNA manual, issued by the Tile Council of North America. All substrates must be properly prepped for tile installation. In this project, floor levelling was required to bring the substrate to acceptable flatness prior to commencing any further work. When renovating, in order to receive a product that will last forever, you may need to budget for unforseen issues like this, or water damage, for example, but renovation projects are also great opportunity to bring non-conforming plumbing or electrical to current codes. We have detailed knowledge and understanding of current codes and regulations in place and regularly advise our clients on the best of materials and upgrades during any renovation project.
